What is ACCP?
ACCP stands for APTECH Certified Computer Professional. The ACCP Program is a comprehensive IT career course, equipping the student with advanced programming knowledge to build enterprise solutions, and is based upon a strong foundation of conceptual knowledge. It is complemented with extensive hands on training and project work giving students real world experience. The course offers enhanced exit flexibility allowing a student to complete one semester at a time with certification.
ACCP is a non-accredited in-depth training program typically addressing the needs of students wishing to build a career in IT. It is also suited to students who wish to build a career in another functional area but want to acquire high level IT skills.
Is ACCP suitable for me?
The ACCP course is ideally suited for those who have completed their O/ A level education or 12 years of schooling, and starts from the very basics. ACCP is also suitable for those seeking to cross-train or re-train on IT. However, with flexible entry and exit points built into the structure it also suitable for a wide range of other students who may have completed their gradhigher degrees and now seek to acquire high-end application skills.
In addition to giving you a solid conceptual base, the ACCP program is also mapped on to several international vendor certifications, and shall help you acquire the skills required for Microsoft, Red Hat, Java and Oracle certifications.
Can I seek an academic degree after completing ACCP?
ACCP graduates can seek advanced entry into City University of Seattle’s Bachelor of Science in Information Systems degree (BSIS) program which can be pursued either online or on-campus in Slovakia and USA, and can complete their BSIS degree within 6 quarters (1.5 years) after completing ACCP. ACCP students are also allowed to join the BSIS program of City University of Seattle simultaneously with ACCP provided all entry requirements are met.
When and where is the next ACCP program starting?
The ACCP program will start in Januari 2011 in the Capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. There will be several groups – weekdays daytime, weekdays evenings, and weekends. The approximate teaching time is 16 hours per week. The course will be in English, taught by the experienced instructors from India.
Is ACCP program accredited by Ministry of Education in Slovakia?
Yes. Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of Slovak Republic granted the accreditation to Aptech’s Advanced Software Development program (Aptech Certified Computer Professional).
What is the tuition and fees for ACCP?
Total fee for the entire two year course is 290€ / month. Total fee includes all study material.
Does Aptech have a job placement cell?
Aptech’s endeavour is to fulfil the staffing needs of the IT industry and facilitates recruitment for various local and international IT companies. Aptech assists all ACCP students in building an IT career.
Grafton Slovakia as a recruitment partner will offer free job counselling sessions to Aptech Graduates and also facilitate placing them in the IT sector, while Aptech Europe as an education partner will respond to Grafton needs of providing IT force to suit the industry demands and offer Career and Short term courses accordingly.
